Touchdown in LA...

Hi A/all!

How's it going in Sydney since I left - rainy and cold? I must say the weather in CA right now is very sunny, warm and beautiful!

I got into LAX on Monday afternoon after a 12.5 hour flight ex Sydney and immediately started out for Palm Springs near where I am staying. My flight was uneventful - much to My delight - as those who know Me know I'm such a nervous flyer!

I'm still pretty jet lagged and desperately in need of a strong coffee - the style readily available around Sydney - but not available where I'm staying! I've been relaxing the last 48 hours but am really looking forward to getting out into the wilds of LA to see the sights and to shop tomorrow!

I'll be posting in the next few days about My experiences here after I find My feet - stay tuned...

You have my complete empathy with the coffee situation MT. I insisted we buy an expresso machine for home before I moved here! Glad to hear you arrived safely. Enjoy your time and hope to catch you both for dinner in SF.

Oh Ariel, if only I'd known I'd have packed My own little stove top coffee maker. We are both really looking forward to catching up with you guys soon - I'll be in touch once we have our plans together!
